حدود نیمقرن پیش بنیانهای فکریِ مفهوم هنر اسلامی بهچالش کشیده شد. پایان دوران استعمار، ایجاد زمینه برای گسترش تفکر اسلامی، و بهتبع آن برپایی موزههای هنر اسلامی در غرب این گرایش را بهویژه پس از حادثۀ یازده سپتامبر 2001 بهاوج رساند. همزمان، موزهشناسی نیز به دیدگاهی مؤثر برای مطالعۀ هنر سرزمینهای اسلامی بدل شد و این بار موزه بهمثابۀ تولیدکنندۀ دانش هنر اسلامی و مفسر این حوزه ایفای نقش کرد. کتاب هنر اسلامی و موزه: رویکردهایی به هنر و باستانشناسی جهان اسلام در سدۀ 21 م نخستین منبع جامعی بود که در این حوزه در سال 2012 منتشر شد. نوشتار حاضر، با هدف بازشناسی رویکردهای غالب به هنر اسلامی در موزههای اروپایی و آمریکایی، با بهرهگیری از روش تحلیل محتوا و با نگاهی موزهشناسانه، به مطالعۀ ساختاری و محتوایی این کتاب میپردازد. یافتههای این تحلیل نشان میدهد که درکنار مزیتهای کتاب که تا حد زیادی عمدۀ چالشهای کنونی را پوشش داده است، کاستیهایی نیز از منظر رویکرد بنیادینش به مقولۀ موزه، ارتباط میان مقالهها و زیرعنوان برخی فصلها، غلبۀ نگاه تاریخ هنری، غلبۀ نگاه شیءمحور، و تمرکز اکثر مطالعات بر یک یا دو حوزۀ جغرافیایی بهچشم میخورد. | ||
